News & Patch Notes
Stay up to date with the latest features, improvements, and fixes to Mythical Atlas.
V1.8 Public Page Redesign and Mobile Polish
This patch refreshes the design of all public-facing pages to match the landing page's visual style, cleans up layout clutter, and improves mobile readability on the landing page.
- •All public pages (sign in, sign up, help, legal, contact, redirect) were redesigned to share the landing page's dark fantasy visual style — consistent colors, contrast, and spacing throughout.
- •Help documentation pages now present content cleanly without boxing every section in a card. Tips and callout notes still stand out where they matter.
- •Sign-in and sign-up pages were simplified — forms flow directly on the page without outer card containers, and unnecessary feature previews were removed to keep the experience focused.
- •The "Players are always free" callout in the hero now wraps cleanly on mobile instead of overflowing or breaking mid-phrase.
- •Landing page section spacing is tighter on mobile so the page reads more naturally on small screens without large empty gaps between sections.
V1.7 Minor bug fixes
This patch fixes a bug where changing rules would temporarily crash the page and a few other minor bugs.
- •Fixed a bug within rules page where changing a rule would crash the page.
- •Fixed a few minor backend bugs
V1.6 Onboarding, Sandbox, and Campaign Lifecycle
This patch improves onboarding, sandbox flow, campaign lifecycle controls, and overall content stability.
- •Consolidated campaign leave/delete controls into dashboard overview dialogs with clearer UX.
- •Refined notes/dashboard interaction patterns (dialogs, scroll areas, campaign-state handling).
- •Updated help content to match current GM capabilities and campaign deletion constraints.
- •Added sandbox mode onboarding support with new help pages.
- •Added first-time user onboarding surfaces (welcome dialog and no-campaign dashboard guidance).
- •Added GM campaign deletion flow with active-player guardrails before destructive actions.
- •Fixed leave-campaign edge cases for membership transitions, rejoin flow, and session state consistency.
- •Fixed issues where content could fail to load when linked author/creator account data was unavailable.
- •Fixed glossary markdown preview overflow/clamping behavior in card layouts.
V1.5 Fresh look for the site
Mythical Atlas now has a more consistent and polished UI.
- •Made many small UI changes to the whole site to ensure every page is consistent with the overall theme
- •Increased the updates tab text size to allow for bigger campaign updates
V1.4 Poll Page QoL changes
Added small changes to the Polls tab.
- •A delete and an edit button to each poll which lets the GM modify the polls
- •The GM can now see the poll results live and optionally participate in the polls by voting
V1.3 Glossary Page Overhaul
The Glossary has been completely revamped with new entry types, Markdown support, and a more polished card layout.
- •Four entry types in the Glossary: Creature, Item, Location, and Other — each with its own category presets
- •Full Markdown support for glossary entry descriptions with a Write/Preview tab in the form
- •Expandable D&D stat blocks for Creature entries (ability scores, AC, HP, CR, traits, actions, and more)
- •Glossary cards now have a polished layout with pinned 'Created by' footer, side-by-side action buttons, and better name truncation
- •Entry form is more compact with a smaller, streamlined design
- •Category dropdown now includes an 'Other' option for custom categories

Update 1 — News Hub + Stability Pass
The News page is officially live. This is your new home base for patch notes, bug fixes, and feature rollouts as Mythical Atlas evolves.
